There is something beautiful about giving things a second life.
For Chapter Two, we turned to the fabrics that remained from our first chapter and saw not leftovers, but possibilities. What already existed was carefully revisited, reworked, and transformed into something entirely new.
In a world of mass production, handwork remains one of India's most enduring legacies. Passed down through generations, embroidery has long been a celebration of patience, skill, and storytelling. At Paarivarik, we wanted to honour that heritage while approaching it with a fresh perspective.
Instead of traditional motifs and familiar patterns, we chose to experiment with playful ideas and unexpected details. Cigarettes, quirky objects, and everyday inspirations found their way onto fabric, giving embroidery a direction that feels contemporary, unconventional, and unmistakably ours.
Every piece in this chapter is embroidered entirely by hand. No machines, no shortcuts—just time, craftsmanship, and countless stitches. In many ways, Chapter Two is about reinvention. About taking what already exists and discovering that with enough imagination, it can become something even more beautiful.
